    lets hope it was grades.

I was never impressed with Crawford when he played. He was an okay defensive player when he parked himself by the basket but was a liability on offense.

well, he didn't play(much at all). I was impressed from day one. I watched him at the shoot arounds and the limited time he was given to play, I saw a truck load of potential. In CB's system any 6'10"-7'1", 250-280 lb kid probably would not "fit in" to CB's style of play. The Augusta State HC saw something in him. And that HC is a darn good coach

billyBob, I love you! "A liability on offense"(Crawford). Are you talking about our offense that for the last 7 minutes of basketball games disappears?, that offense that will chuck up 3's going 0-12 etc? Maybe Crawford would be a liability or maybe he'd be the answer to getting easy baskets in crunch time. As it stands now, we got a number of liabilities running around out there.

I’d have to believe Crawford’s success thus far at his new school is as follows ....

    Level of competition
    +
    PT
    +
Coach willing to find ways to use his ability

As it pertains to his time here, I feel like he was a misuse of talent. Did he fit perfectly? No. Could Byington have found a way to utilize him in a few meaningful ways? Absolutely! To me, his “failure” here was more about coaching philosophy than player ability.
